Anna Henningsen

Anna Marie Henningsen (75), passed away on October 24, 2013. She is survived by her loving husband, Victor Henningsen, and nieces, Linda (Ojanpa) Jenio and Lisa (Ojanpa) Martinek and families. She is predeceased by her parents, Herman and Maria Wainio and her sister, Elmie Ojanpa. Anna graduated from Augustana College with a degree in nursing and received a master's in nursing administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Her career involved working as a nurse in hospitals and later roles as an administrator and teacher. She also worked for a medical outplacement firm. Additionally, she spent a year living and working in Finland, the country of her ancestors. Anna will be sorely missed by her family. Family and friends will begin to gather at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park on Tuesday, October 29th from 9:00 am until the time of the service 11:00 am.
