Annamaria Fiore-Vargas, a Franklin Park resident who was born on July 10, 1951, in Naples Italy, was suddenly taken from us by the grace of God on October 14, 2022, at the age of 71.
She was the wife of 41 years to her love, Manuel Vargas.
Loving daughter of Grazia Fiore and Ciro Fiore.
Devoted mother to Lisa Sandoval, Lori Hack, Amy Pastrana, and Angie Zamudio.
Cherished sister of Antimo, Josephine, Vince, Lina and Johnny.
She was the adored grandmother of Steve, Anna, Sarah, Michael, Christopher, Desiree, Melanie and Juliana.
Annamaria was a devoted aunt and cousin to many, and overall, a strong and loving force in her loved one's lives.
She was a woman who created the foundation of a strong-willed family.
She embodied strength, courage, love, beauty and fire; unafraid to speak her truth.
Annamaria poured her heart into everything that she did which included camping (and making her famous ‘pan-a-cakes’), caring for her flowers, watching TV, the craft in baking her lasagna for family holidays, and rooting for the Chicago Bears with her family every Sunday, yelling at the TV when they ran the ball and didn’t pass it.
She also loved going for walks with her two loyal companions, Manuel and Mushu.
The marks she made on our hearts will never fade.
