Arlene leaves behind her loving husband Clyde A. Nelson, of 58 years. As well as her sister Helen and husband (Harold) Vaughan. Arlene was both an Aunt and Great Aunt.

Arlene was an incredibly strong women, she beat breast cancer and was constantly fighting diabetes. Throughout all of these battles with illness, Arlene still enjoyed many things in life. Arlene's passions included gardening, owning and raising greyhounds with her husband, having a night out at the casino, and spending time with her loved ones.

Although we all wished for many more years with Arlene she is finally at peace, free of all her pain and suffering.

Now that you are out of sight, you will continue to live in our hearts forever.

Visitation Saturday April 13, 2019 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home 9568 Belmont Avenue Franklin Park.
