Barbara A. Weith When Barb was called home, the knowledge of her hope and trust comforted her family and friends. As she was raised in the Christian faith by her parents the late Walter and Irene Weith, so Barb will be lovingly remembered and missed by her brother Robert (Sandra) Weith of Bloomington, Indiana, and her sister Wendy (William) Fraser of Stony Plain, Alberta. Aunt Barb will continue to live in the memories of her niece and nephews, Lara, William (Elizabeth) and David (Jennifer) Fraser, as well as with great nephews David and Brett; Ethan, Benjamin and Kellen. Barb attended Bethlehem Lutheran School in River Grove through the elementary grades and she was a 1970 graduate of Walther Lutheran High School. After some post-secondary exploration, she returned to school and graduated from Concordia Teachers College, River Forest (now Concordia University Chicago) and was soon employed as an elementary teacher at Saint Luke Academy. Her affiliation with Saint Luke Chicago continued for more than twenty years with an evolving job description, as her unique gifts were offered at both church and school. Content and fulfilled, Barb had a gentle and caring spirit, enjoying the many friends and family members that were a part of the seasons of her life. Family and friends will gather on Monday, August 19, 2013 from 1:00 PM until the time of the memorial service 4:00 PM at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park.
