Cynthia Diaz

October 29, 1960 — November 17, 2024

Cynthia Nardella-Diaz, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away November 17, 2024, at the age of 64.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Cynthia served her country during the 80’s.
Her strength and resilience shaped by her military service became the foundation for her compassionate nature.
Later Cynthia devoted her life to taking care of her two children, Christian and Myranda; she did so with unwavering love.

Cynthia was a woman of many passions.
She was a wonderful baker whose homemade pastries sweetened every special occasion.
Her obsession with sports was infectious; you were almost guaranteed to find her wearing her favorite Chicago Cubs jersey.
She was an avid reader with a particular fondness for the Harry Potter series, often dreaming of one day visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in California.
She had a deep love for animals, especially her two Goldens, Genghis and Jaba.
Cynthia also found great joy in gardening, pouring countless hours into her plants each spring.

Cynthia touched the lives of many; her kind spirit continues to inspire all those who loved her.

Cynthia is survived by her beloved children, Christian Diaz and Myranda Diaz; her father, Joseph Nardella; her siblings, Nick Nardella and Jackie Mescolatto; and her long-term partner, Bob Johnsen.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Crane-Nardella, and her ex-husband, Francisco Diaz.

If you are unable to attend the service, please share a cherished memory of Cynthia in the guestbook below.
Let us honor her life by celebrating the joy she brought into the world.

Rest in Peace, Cynthia. You will forever be missed.
