Cyril Campagna

Cyril P. Campagna Beloved husband of the late Marion nee Corsello Campagna passed away peacefully on July 16, 2013 at the age of 87 years. He is the loving father of Richard O. (Joy (Hanisch)) Campagna, and Catherine F. Campagna, and the cherished grandfather of Jori A. Campagna, and Kerry E. Campagna. Cyril was the devoted son of the late Onofrio and the late Catarina nee Tantillo Campagna. He was the dear brother of the late David (Florence) Campagna, and the late Mary Rose (Charles) Feller. Fond uncle of many. Cyril started working as a boy by shining shoes and selling newspapers. For a while he had his own sign hanging business. His main vocation was selling insurance for the Prudential Insurance company. After retiring from Prudential, Cyril still kept busy by doing factory inspection and layout work. in his spare time, he played the violin. He had many loves in his life; His late wife Marion, His children, His Grandchildren, Mathematics especially Trigonometry, the Chicago Bears, and the love of fine home made foods. Everyone that knew Cyril will also miss his jokes and laughter. Family and friends will begin to gather on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 9:00 am at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park until the time of the funeral service 11:30 am.
