Daniel Thilges Jr

On March 25th, 2020 Daniel J Thilges, age 31 unplugged his aux cord and took his case of PBR with him into Nirvana. Shouting "Slayer!" through the neighborhood of Melrose Park,  DJ was more than the fables that survive through the experiences of everyone's memory.

He was a grandson to Owie & Grandpair and also Margaret Capotosto & Robert Thilges, Son of Dawn & Daniel Thilges Sr, and loving brother to Matthew Thilges. Though he was all of these things, he was so much more to so many others. His straight forward attitude allowed him to befriend an unlikely combination of individuals who provided an underline to the importance of his character and his unique ability to connect with everyone around him.

DJ lived open to experiences, passionate with his intent and free of regret.

Private visitation for Daniel "D.J" Thilges will begin Sunday, March 29th from 1pm-3pm.
