Debra Schaefer

April 10, 1964 — April 5, 2021

Loving wife of John Buciuman.
Beloved daughter of Cletus and Shirley Schaefer.
Devoted mother to Jessica, Anthony, and Megan Schaefer.
Dear sister of Connie Calez and Patricia Woodward.
Fond aunt of Frank, Jonathan, Robert, and DJ.

Debra was a non-denomination Christian and an active member of spreading the word of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed music, dancing, and praising Father God Abba (Mark 14:36). She will be remembered for her love of God, singing praise to his name. You would often hear music playing from Elvis, Michael Jackson, and Prince, and she would spontaneously breaking out in dance. She always supported the homeless, and gave thanks for all that she received. Always wanting to be a nurse, she love learning new information about the medical field. She was a breast cancer survivor and a supporter of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. She loved her three children more than anything. She devoted her life to her kids, giving them the best life they could have, often throwing extravagant birthday parties with her many fur babies, Romeo, Cookie, and Bandit. She was a dear friend to many. Debra was a mother figure to others no matter their circumstance. She built a life with her husband and had plans to grow old in a rocking chair watching the sunset. She loved her sisters, best friends and advisors to one another, leaning on each other through the worst of times. She loved her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews dearly. She will be remembered as an angel on Earth. Her feathers have turned to wings.
"My Father's house has many rooms; if that we not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am". (John 14:2-3)
