Edward Bluthardt

Edward E. Bluthardt, Jr.,"Sparky", 78, resident of Weeki Wachee, FL, passed away on May 2, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his son, Dan, and his parents Edward and Dorothy.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Diane, son, Brent, 4 grandchildren: Rocco, Amanda, Brittany, Lauren, daughter-in-law, Caroline Bluthardt, sister Bonnie Stella, and his 7 nieces and nephews.

Ed was a long-time resident of Schiller Park, IL and Eagle River, WI.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity.
Ed was a career police officer for 28 years with the Village of Schiller Park, serving as Chief for 12 of those years.
Upon retirement to Eagle River, WI, Ed proudly served on the Vilas County Board of Supervisors for 14 years.
He loved his many dogs, most recently Buddy.
Ed especially loved his family and friends very much and enjoyed spending time with them on the golf course, on the water, or at a local pub.

The family invites Sparky's family and friends to a Celebration of His Life on Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 2pm-5pm at Mike O'Donnell's Irish Pub, 9573 Franklin Avenue, Franklin Park, IL  60131.
