Elaine Evans

On Sunday, October 31, 2021, Elaine Guhl Evans, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 91. She was born January 19, 1930. She graduated Leyden High School. On February 26, 1949, she married the love of her life, Robert Evans. Elaine enjoyed singing, gardening, baking, knitting and fishing. She was always generous, loved serving the Lord and doing things for others. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Paul and Ethel, and her brothers Robert and Richard. She is survived by her son Lawrence (Sue), grandchildren Robert (Cori), Timothy (Cassie) and Rebecca (Tasha), great grandchildren Connor, Spencer and Shane, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on December 18, 2021 at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 965 Kuhn Road, Carol Stream, IL 60188 at 11 a.m. Visitation with the family at 10 am.
