Elaine Finnegan

Elaine M. Finnegan, age 89, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023.
"Honey" to her late husband Joseph ("Popeye").  
Loved by her children: the late Pamela, Patricia, Paula (the late Brian) Barnhart, Joseph (Mary), James (Patricia); her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Nicholas (Shannon, Paige, Chloe), Adam, Jamie and Phil Quattrocchi, Ryan and the late Jessica, Kyle and Jennifer (Shayne, Braydon, Jackson), Jennifer and Dustin Friedhart (Zoe, Delia, Olive), Brian Jr. and Ilona Barnhart (Rumi), Mark and Gina Barnhart (Emma, Isabella), and Lo Barnhart.  

Precious daughter of the late Harry and Edna Litberg, beloved sister to Barry, the late Dorothy, and the late Barbara, dearest sister-in-law to the late Marie and Saul Fuerstadt, and the late Loretta Finnegan.

The best cousin and favorite aunt to many!

A gifted pianist, storyteller, writer, painter, bookworm, scholar, debater, teacher, tutor.  
A friend.  
A fan of the Chicago Cubs and watching golf.  
Collected baseball cards, stamps, shoes, rocks, heart stones.  
Loved the movies, theater, radio, all kinds of TV shows; and there’s nothing better than cooked with butter, a cold Coca-Cola, and Hershey's kisses.

Retired from Walgreens at Fullerton & Cicero after almost 40 years.

Graduate Cum Laude, Tertio In Genere - Wright Jr. College.
