Eleanor V. Kmetz Age 91, passed away April 2, 2011 in Northlake, Illinois. Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Kmetz; Loving mother of Kathryn (James) Zell, David (Vicki) Kmetz, and Karen (Richard) Huth; Dear sister of the late Lottie Otradovec, the late Charles Plonder, and the late Matthew Plonder; Cherished grandmother of Joseph (Sandra) Zell, David Zell, and Lisa (Tom) Grover; Blessed great grandmother of Tyler, Michael, and Jonathan Zell; a fond aunt to many and 'Grandma Guts' to countless others. Eleanor loved spending time with her family and her dog Pepper. She enjoyed playing games, trips to the casino, and taking your money at card games. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Family and friends will gather on Monday beginning at 8:15 A.M. at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park for Prayers at 9:00 A.M. We will then process to St. Gertrude Church for Mass at 9:30 A.M. From the church we will process to Maryhill Cemetery for the interment service.
