Esther H. Barr

Esther H. Barr, born Nov. 7, 1927 to Alexander & Margaret Hogarth, caring wife, mother, and sister, Esther passed away peacefully on Oct. 12, 2022.

Esther was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, married John (Jock) Y. Barr, and together they immigrated to North America in the 50’s.

Preceded in death by her husband John (Jock) Y. Barr and her son Craig H. Barr. She is survived by her son Keith A. Barr daughter in-law Lynn Barr, grandkids, as well as nieces & nephews back home in her beloved Scotland.

Esther was loving Grand Mother to Maggie (Jason) Neubauer, Mason Barr, the late Alexander Barr, Kathreen Barr, and Joe Mazzolini.

She was a loving Aunt to many.

Mom, we love you and will miss you deeply. You will always be in our hearts and continue to live on through us. This is your time to be at peace and be happy again with Jock, Craig, Alex, your parents, Sisters as well as Nieces/Nephews Brother & Sister in-laws and friends made along life’s journey you now can rest in your eternal place together, until we meet again...

Esther will be remembered by friends and family as a loving soul, her proud Scottish Heritage, and all the neighbors/friendships on Drake & Central Park that were formed over the years. Spending time with loving family & grand kids.
