Loving father of Beth Guimon, Jean (Steve) Sheridan, Gregory Larsen, and Eric (Carrie) Larsen.

Proud grandfather of Christopher (Katie), Danny (Claire), Evan, Mackenzie, Jason, and Erin.

Dear brother of the late Fred, Red, Jerry and Tommy.

Cherished son of the late Fred and Erna.

Gene retired from the Schiller Park Police department after many years of service. He also served as a trustee for the village of Schiller Park, and was an inductee to the Semi-Pro Football Hall of Fame.

A private family service was held.
