Evelyn Botti, 78, of Mount Prospect, IL, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
She was known for her playfulness, joking, cooking, kindness, and love of the Lord.
She enjoyed reading her Bible, completing circle word puzzles, listening to Gospel music, and watching The Gaithers, Maury and Wheel of Fortune on TV.
She will be extremely missed by everyone.
Evelyn was born January 28, 1943, in Chenoa, KY, the daughter of the late George Baker and Paralee Jackson Baker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Maximino Botti; sisters, Retha Ward, Cassie Bogucki, and Molly Smith, as well as her brothers, Roger Baker, Charles Baker, George Baker JR, Andy Baker, Leamon Baker, and Delmar Baker.
She is survived by the following members of her family:
Children: Minerva Botti of Bronx, NY, William Botti (Gail) of Schiller Park, IL, Adelaide Botti (Lee) of Chicago, IL, Max Botti JR of Franklin Park, IL, Harold Botti (Becky) of McHenry, IL, Darryl Botti (Carolyn) of Skokie, IL, and Consuelo Botti of Mount Prospect, IL.
Brothers: Willie Baker
Sisters: Margie Giannoulis
Grandchildren: Anthony Botti, Paul Botti, Henry Botti, Natalia Botti.
And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 1:00pm Monday, September 27,2021, at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home, 9568 Belmont Avenue, Franklin Park, IL, 60131 ~ 847.678.1950.
