Dear brother of Catherine Hanko, Irene (Ed) Sobecky, the late Anna Banko, Mary (the late John) Gazdziak, Betty Olson, and Joseph (Evelyn) Ustupski.
Brother in law of Dorothy Rozanski, Jeanette Lisk, the late Anna Gazdziak, Mary Kurcz, Josephine Rafats and Edward Pawlowski.
Uncle of many.
George proudly served in the US Army with Darby's Rangers during WWII. Retired after many years of service with Procter and Gamble.
George was an avid golfer, loved the outdoors with fishing and hunting. He was on many bowling leagues, loved playing pool and in nicer weather enjoyed Bocci Ball.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, Dec 5, from 8:30 am until time of prayer 9:30 am at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park.
Funeral Mass 10:00 am at St. Maria Goretti Church.
Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
