Beloved husband of Marilyn. They had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on November 15, 2019.

Loving father of Debra (Pierre) Pajak, and Jill (Kevin) Ramirez. Pet father of Charlotte, the late Holly and the late Peaches.

Proud grandfather of Justin, Ryan, Michael, and Ava. Pet Grandpa of Fluffy, Cupcake, Rocky, and the late Honey.

Gerald was an avid Cubs Fan, Chicago Bears fan, and Chicago Blackhawks fan.

He loved gardening and fishing, and Halloween. Gerald was a spectacular handyman. He was able to fix just about anything. If not, he would fix it with Duct Tape.

However, his greatest love was for his wife and family.

Family and friends will gather at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 10:30 am until time of service at 1:30 pm.

Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery will follow the service.
