James Eckert

With great sadness the family of James Daniel Eckert, age 85, announces his passing on March 7, 2022, after a short illness.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years Janet (née Fenrich); son Richard (Anne); grandchildren James and Theodore; uncle to Bryan Manker; cherished brother to his late siblings Donna Manker and William Eckert.
A retired long-time employee of Triton College, Jim will be especially missed by his dog Missy and all who knew him through church and his walks in the neighborhood.

Jim will be Lying in State from 9:30am until time of a Memorial Service at 11:00am on Saturday, March 19, 2021, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in River Grove, IL.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, your local animal shelter, or your preferred charity.
