Loving son of Marilyn nee Boyd, and the late Herbert Golden.

Cherished brother of Kathy Redlin, Patricia (Michael) Dolar, and William Golden.

Fun loving uncle of Tom Redlin, Michael Dolar and Kelly Dolar.

Loving cousin and friend to many.

Jimmy was a great friend. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He had a great sense of humor and his smile warmed our hearts. Jimmy had a talent for cooking, and we enjoyed every meal he created. He also shared those meals with others within our Schiller Park neighborhood. Jimmy was an avid sports fan. If you visited our home, you would find him engaged in a Notre Dame, Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Bears, or Chicago Cubs game. Although every day could be challenging, he faced it with strength and courage. He will be truly missed.

Visitation for Jimmy will begin on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 10:00 am until time of service 2:00 pm at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home, 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park.
