James Vogt

James Vogt, 81.
Beloved husband of Donna.
Loving father of Faith (John) Markulin, Greg (Cheri) Vogt, and Stan (Michelle) Vogt.
Proud grandfather of Brian, Brett, and Devin.
Cherished brother of Jeanette (Krist).
Loved uncle of nieces and nephews of the Krist, Vogt, Noonan, and Tobias/Lewis families.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Dorothy, brother Frank Vogt, sister Dorothy Noonan, and sister Mary Alice Lewis.
James served as a Mess Sergeant in the Illinois National Guard.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his home, or theirs, or anywhere else.
He loved to travel and was a world traveler who was always serarching for the best deal on their next adventure somewhere around the world.
But most of all, as anyone who knew him could tell you, he was really just a big kid at heart.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium.
A celebration of his life will be held the following morning on Thursday, July 26, 2018, from 9:00am to 10:00am at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium prior to interment at Fairview Memorial Park on Wolf Road in Northlake, Illinois.
