Jannice L. Pienta

Jannice Lyn Pienta, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.

Jannice was born December 28, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to the late George and Mary (Bell) Mork. She was the youngest of three children. Jannice was a graduate of East Leyden High School in Franklin Park.

Jannice married Frank Pienta on August 2, 1969. She worked at Chicago Hardware and Fixture Company for a majority of her career as an Administrative Assistant. On February 24, 1977, Jannice welcomed her daughter into this world.

Jannice was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and cousin. She loved to smile, had a great sense of humor, was thoughtful and giving and touched so many lives. She lived a full life chatting with friends and family over tea, spending time with her grandchildren and crocheting. Jannice will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. 

Jannice is survived by her husband, Frank Pienta; her daughter, Kristie Pienta Evers; her grandchildren, Johnathan and Kate Evers; her brother, Bryan Mork; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jannice is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Mork; and her brother, Richard Mork.
