Jeffery Nesheim 1964-2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffery Nesheim (60). Beloved husband to Cassie Nesheim, proud father to Sophia Liv Nesheim and stepson, Storm Rogers. Preceded in death by his father Magne Olafson Nesheim (1924-1994) and mother Else Liv Nesheim, nee Andersen (1926-2022). Cherished brother of Eric (Lilly), Tom (Peggy), Glen (Laura), Neil (Kris) and Margaret Maggiore. Fondly remembered by his twelve nieces & nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Jeff was a hard-working, talented Diesel Technician. He dedicated 37 years to Ryder as a skilled Journeyman. His many achievements include making it into the finals of Ryder’s National Top Tech competition in 2012 and again in 2014. Jeff won 2nd place in 2014. He was flown with the 1st and 3rd place winners to New York, NY on a private plane, a ride he never forgot, and was on the floor of the NYSE for the closing bell ringing with Ryder’s CEO.

Jeff went on in 2014 to TMC Supertech and came in 1st place for the ASE written exam and the Starting & Charging challenge. In 2015 he was honored by Snap-On tool as the ASE Master Technician of the Year. Jeff’s friendship and expertise will be greatly missed by his many friends and colleagues at Ryder.

We take comfort in knowing that Jeff is at peace, and we will meet again someday.
