Jimmy W Chesser, 67, United States Army Veteran, Beloved Father of 5, Husband, Brother of 2, Son, Grandfather of 6, Great Grandfather of 1, Uncle, Cousin, Friend and Neighbor of many. Jimmy was loved and admired by countless friends and family. He was a skilled and creative engineer who could fix and repair most anything. Jimmy loved to work outdoors and he found passion and pride in the work he did. Jimmy would help anyone he could, no questions asked. Jimmy often found himself relaxing by either fishing at a lake, watching action movies with his children, or cheering on any Chicago team. He was often seen drinking a pop and eating chocolate, always trying to satisfy his sweet tooth. Jimmy often bragged to others about how successful his children were. He was dedicated to taking care of his youngest daughter with special needs. He often referred to her as his "little monkey". In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support and care for Jimmy's youngest daughter and family. Family and friends will gather at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Bellmont Ave. Franklin Park for a celebration of Jimmy's life on Friday, May 3, 2013 beginning at 3:00 pm until the time of the formal service at 7:00 pm.
