John Narvaez

John Joseph Narvaez, 88, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018.
Loving husband of 44 years to the late Patricia (nee Foss).
Beloved father of Michael (Catherine), Teddy (Phyllis), Susan, and valued stepfather to Edward Craddock (Patricia).
Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Sara, Elisa (Alberto), Vanessa (Tony), Sophia, Raquel, Eric, Ryan (Gillian), and Kevin.
Treasured great grandfather of Lilia, Ella, Brianna, De'Angelo, Aliyah, Giovanni, Jaiden, and Naomi.
John is preceded in death by his brother Wallace L. Narvaez.
John served in the US Army as an MP in post WWII Germany.
He had an artistic flair and enjoyed crafting and working with his hands, creating such items as tall sailing ship models made of wood and string art as well as miniature houses. He was also an excellent cook and baker specializing in apple and lemon meringue pies and homemade spaghetti sauce. He loved chili and pork-n-beans (actually anything with beans in it). He was well known for his great love of all kinds of music, and was a big fan of the songs "My Way" and "Your Cheatin' Heart". John was light on his feet, had terrific energy, and loved to "dance the night away", often outlasting his dancing partners.
