Juanita Gasca

Juanita Gasca (nee Villarreal), 88, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois, on October 1, 2018.
Juanita is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose Gasca.
Juanita is survived by her brother Daniel; her sons Joe (Janet) Villarreal, Ruben Villarreal, and Mario (Debbie) Villarreal; her daughters Esperanza (Jesus) Morales, Maria (Dan) Fitzgerald, Elisa (Dennis) Mitchell, Frances (Rogelio) Alpizar-De La Torre, and Margo Villarreal (Rodolfo Pena); as well as 17 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Juanita was born in Goliad, Texas, in 1930. After moving to Carizzo Springs, Texas, she began building and caring for her large family. She was known for being loving, caring, and involved with all things related to family. Juanita frequently hosted family members at her home for many celebrations, complete with extravagant meals. She was beloved by not only her family but by several friends with whom she kept in contact over the years. A loving and caring grandmother, family meant the world to her. Juanita was also an active and dedicated member of the Catholic church.
A memorial service, officiated by Father Chris, will be held Monday, October 8, 2018, from 3:00pm to 9:00pm, at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Avenue, in Franklin Park, Illinois, 60131.
Special family only visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.
