Juanita Gieske

Juanita Gieske, age 96, longtime resident of Franklin Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully in her home, a house she resided in for 73 years, on April 15, 2020.
Juanita was born on December 22, 1923, to the late Frederick and Ethel Hamm.
Loving wife of the late John V. Gieske, married for 62 years, and loving mother of John (Vilma) Gieske and Laura (Barry) Cooper.
Dearest sister of late sisters Gin and Peg, and brothers Ted and the late Bill.
Beloved grandmother of Jeffrey, Jennifer, and Kevin, and great grandmother of Zachary, Samantha, and Benjamin.

Juanita's passions, aside from devotion to her family, were making amazing creations with needle and thread (sewing), and making beautiful music playing the organ.

A small family-only memorial service will be held at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home on April 22, 2020
