Kathryn Nowicki

Kathryn Eileen Nowicki, 60, passed away December 21, 2020, due to pancreatic cancer. She was born in Chicago in 1960 to parents Arthur and Barbara Goetz. Kathy received her BA degree from Northeastern Illinois University. She was married to Keith Nowicki for many happy years. Kathy is survived by her husband Keith, their two sons Joshua and Michael, her sisters Judi (Garry) and Karen (James), her parents Arthur and Barbara, her nephew David, and nieces Elizabeth and Olivia. She was a loving sister-in-law to Jeff, Scott, Brian, and Jamie, and daughter-in-law to Judy and Warren Nowicki. She was much loved by her many friends and cousins. Kathy was a veteran of the US Army, having served 4 years of active duty and 14 years in the Army Reserves. Kathy loved swimming, camping, and gardening. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Family and friends will gather at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park on Sunday, December 27, 2020 for a Memorial Gathering from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the funeral home is limited to 10 people. Masks are required at all times in the funeral home.
