Kelly J. Clausen, 58, of Northlake, IL.
Passed away in her sleep on February 3, 2024.
Kelly was born on January 12, 1966.
The daughter of John and (the late) Jacqueline Clausen.
Mother of Robert Viktor.
Sister of Kathy (Jack) Solesky.
Aunt of Kurtis Dower and Kendra.
Kelly Graduated from East Leyden High School Class of 1984.
She attended The American Academy of Art and earned her bachelor's degree.
She also Attended Airbrush Art School and was a certified airbrush artist.
Kelly enjoyed her life to the fullest. She played softball in her youth in the first girls league in Franklin Park. She also played for the undefeated Sparklers of Franklin Park in which her mom was the head coach. Kelly swam on the East Leyden High School swim team for 3 years. She loved doing her art and airbrushing. Kelly was able to help with the design on the 8-8-88 logo on the Chicago Cubs hats when the lights were turned on at Wrigley Field. She absolutely loved going to Cubs games and sitting in the bleachers. She was an extra in the crowd at Wrigley for the movies Ferris Buller's Day Off and Rookie of the Year. She was a Cheese-Head fan (Green Bay Packers). She enjoyed watching her son, Robert, play basketball on the Wildcats. She collected frogs, flamingos and palm trees. Kelly was a loyal hard worker at all the jobs she had. Those that know Kelly know she was beautiful, fun, and certainly lived her life her way to the fullest. Kelly loved her family and friends.
