Kermit "George" Cederborg passed away peacefully at home the morning of August 29th, 2021.
Born August 9th,1924, Kermit was extremely passionate and proud of being an auto mechanic.
He dedicated 39 and a half years of his life to the garage at East Leyden High School and when he wasn't at work he was in his own garage servicing everyone's car in the Northlake area.
Because of his personality and his dedication to the grease monkey lifestyle he played a huge role and impacted many people's lives.
On the rare occasion where Kermit wasn't in the garage he was in his garden, making sure that he always had the best on the block.
Kermit was the loving husband of the late Marion Cederborg, treasured father of five kids, as well as a cherished grandfather of not only six grandkids but six great grandkids also.
He was a dog lover and a huge believer that a dog truly was a man's best friend.
Kermit was a very generous and caring man that made sure to always provide his family and friends with whatever he could.
Though Kermit is no longer with us he will always hold a very special place in our hearts.
