In loving Memory of Larry Duke 89, of Franklin Park Illinois.

Larry was born on July 16th, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on Thursday July 20, 2023.

Larry loved his family and is survived by his son Larwence A. Duke Jr., his wife Leticia, daughter Diane Sanders her husband Jeff and daughter Jeanine Toms.
Grandchildren, Jasmin, Laura, Adam, Noah, Jill, Tina, Matthew, Christopher, John, Ashley, and Jacob.
Great Grandchildren; Justin, Aubrey, Brayden, Gunner, Ellie, Elise, Sable, Sydney, Willow, Lily, Dean, Sonny, June, Olivia, and Gianna.

Nephew Daniel and niece Michelle.

Larry was a decades long resident and served the Village of Franklin Park as an auxiliary Policeman and in the Water Department. He was also personal driver for the legendary radio personality Paul Harvey. He will be remembered as an avid Harley Davidson rider who loved to travel and took a solo ride to Alaska and back. He was an outdoor enthusiast and loved hunting, fishing, boating, sport shooting, archery, scuba diving and was a member of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. Larry and Alma shared the love of travel and had fun-filled trips each year.

Larry loved the Lord and now, he knows, “the rest of the story”!

Family and friends are coming together to celebrate Larry’s life on Saturday August 26, 2023, 2:00pm to 4:00 at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home in Franklin Park, IL.
