Lorraine Fischer

April 18, 1916 - December 28, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Oland Fischer. Loving mother of Judith A. Burda, Linda (John) DeMayo Bechtold and the late Bonnie Leonard. Dear grandmother of David (Jeanne) Burda, Deb Burda, Vicky (Mike) Ridenour, Ron (Mary) Leonard, Mikey DeMayo, and Joe (Kristie) DeMayo. Great Grandmother of Louie, Lexi, Ben, Jeff, Nathaniel, and Eddie. Member of the River Grove V.F.W. Woman's Auxillary, River Grove Women of the Moose, Leyden Township Democratic Women's Organization, and Friends of the River Grove Public Library. Proudly served as an election judge for Cook County, a religious education secretarial assistant at St. Cyprian Church and the Sunshine Lady for both the Franklin Park Social Club and her TOPS Club. Lorraine was a long time member of the River Grove Wednesday Afternoon Ladies Bowling League, and a die hard Cub fan. Memorial service Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park.
