Born September 13, 1923 in Chicago , Illinois.
Married June 19, 1943 to the late Robert W. Jackson.
Loving mother of Robert (Stephanie), Kathleen Kelly, Michael, James (Jill), and Judith (John) Kilborn, and Aimee Daniels.
Cherished Grandmother of Shawn (Steve) Shrader, Michelle (Dan) Yirku, Heather (Ron) DeBaun, Michael (April) Jackson, and Brian Kilborn.
Great grandmother of Alicia and Jason Shrader, Nicole Yirku, Maxwell DeBaun, and Tristan Jackson.
Dear sister of Helen (the late Joe) Romness, Kathryn Hegge, Bill (Evelyn) Meyn, and Don (Daws) Meyn. Aunt of many.
Margaret attended the College of DuPage and North Park College.
She had been the Secretary Treasure of Cavity Masters, the DuPage Senior Nutrition Program, and the Welcome Wagon.
Mrs. Jackson was very involved (over 60 Years) with the First United Methodist Church of Franklin Park and with the Northern Illinois Conference. She had previously served in leadership roles in the Women's program both in the Northern Illinois Conference and at the National Level and served as lay delegate to the Northern Illinois Conference on several occasions.
Margaret was involed with the Franklin Park Chamber of Commerce and the Franklin Park Women's Club. Mrs. Jackson was given the Cook COunty service Award for significant Community Service (nominated by Dan Pritchett).
Margaret loved music, dancing and travel.
Family and friends will gather Sunday, from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park. Memorials to the First United Methodist Church of Franklin Park 9857 Schiller Blvd., Franklin Park, Il 60131 appreciated.
Margaret will be lying in State Monday from 9:00 A.M. until time of service 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church of Franklin Park 9857 Schiller Blvd.
