Marsha Lynn Kabbe, 59, of River Grove, formerly of Elmhurst, passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 13th.
She was preceeded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother, Lois, her brother, Gene her nieces Suzy and Katy (Zach) and nephews, Andrew and David, her great-niece, Evie-Lou, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was born November 23, 1952 in Elmhurst to Lois (LaBee) and the late Herman Kabbe. She graduated from Addison Trail High School in 1970 and from Bauder Fashion College in Florida in 1972. She lived in Williamsburg, Virginia for 6 years before returning to her roots in Illinois.
Marsha worked at BCD Travel in Glenview for 26 years. That career gave her the opportunity to travel. She loved traveling, reading and gardening, often planning trips to Europe with the desire to see some of world's most beautiful gardens. Her nephews and nieces were her traveling companions on several trips and were blessed to to have one on one time with her during their lifetime. She had a world intelligence the could blow you away. And if you had ever been fortunate enough to be on "Who wants to be a Millionaire", she would have been a great lifeline!
Because of her love of traveling she has many friends around the world who will miss her enthusiasm, knowledge, gentle-hearted look at life and love. Her life has touched many. But, her tenderness will live forever in our hearts.
