On Thursday, February 13, 2014, Mary Ann Spudic died quietly in her sleep. Mary was born on February 24, 1914 in Chicago, IL and lived in the Chicago area for most of life. She, along with her now deceased husband John, raised her family, in River Grove, IL. At age 97, she moved to Elmcroft Assisted Living in Roswell, GA. Mary has left behind her children John, Tom, and Mary Kay, her son-in-law Joe Lichtman, her daughter-in-law Linda Spudic, her grandchildren Jane Dresky, Lisa Cusano and Michael Spudic and their respective spouses, as well as four great grandchildren. Mary’s daughter Rita died in May of 2013. Mary never met a person she didn’t love or reach out to with her infectious smile. She will be missed by so many. Visitation will be at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium on Monday, February 24 from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday morning 9:30 am at St. Cyprian Catholic Church.
