Mr. Nicholas Arthur Dell'Aringa December 29, 1981- March 13, 2014 Nicholas Arthur Dell'Aringa, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13th, after a long and courageous battle with Brain Cancer (Glioblastoma Multiforme), at the age of 32. Nick worked for IKON Office Solutions in St. Louis, MO throughout his twenty's, holding various positions within the organization and making life-long friendships. He was an avid bowler, his highest game a 299. Nick loved to play golf, basketball, baseball and softball. In high school he was a star athlete, excelling in every sport he played, namely basketball, football and track & field. He graduated from Hendersonville High School, in Hendersonville, TN in 2000. A lifelong Chicago fan, Nick moved back to the Windy City in early 2013- where he cheered the Cubs, Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks while enjoying his favorite Chicago cuisine like Gene and Jude’s & Portillo’s. Nick is survived by his parents, Bill & Linda Dell'Aringa, his siblings: Kim Sprovier (Anthony Sprovier), John Benedetti (Gina Negrin), and Brandon Dell'Aringa (Joy Dell'Aringa), and his nephew and nieces: Lucas Dell'Aringa, Emma Dell'Aringa, and Gia Sprovier, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Nick left a big impression on this world in his short time here - his fun-loving happy go lucky attitude, his wonderful sense of humor, his caring nature -touched every life he came into contact with. Gone too soon, he will never be forgotten. Son. Brother. Uncle. Friend. Memorial Service & Visitation will be held on Saturday March 22, 2014 from 10:00am to 1:00pm with service starting at noon at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home 9568 Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL. Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00pm at Tuscano's 4926 N River Rd, Schiller Park, IL.- all are welcome. The Dell'Aringa family has graciously donated Nick's brain tissue to further research to find a cure for this horrible disease. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) where a tribute fund has been created in Nick's honor.
