Patricia (Patti) Olivia Gurnicz (nee Griffin) 95 1/2.

Beloved wife of the late Eugene H. Gurnicz for over 60 years.
Loving mother to Christine (Dennis) Moran, Mark E. Gurnicz, Claudia Gurnicz, Carl Gurnicz, David Gurnicz, Marian Gurnicz,  and Laura G. (Patrick) McPartland.
Adored Gramma to 11 and Great Gramma/Grammy to 17.

Family was Patti's number one priority along with her strong faith.
She devoted a lot of time and her craftmanship to her parish.
She worked for years on various church women's clubs particularly crafts.
She did her civic duty by working the Schiller Park polls at voting time for years.
A lover of babies, reading, cooking, baking, antiques, gardening, sewing, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, cats (especially yellow ones) and the game Tetris.
A caring loving person that would help anyone she could, she was always available to listen and advise those in need.
She always wanted to be a mom and wife above all else, and she proved to be the best at both.
Patti was the cornerstone of the family, and she will be missed greatly by all.
