Raymond Weigand

A few kind words about Raymond T. Weigand, 84 years old, born January 10th, 1928 who passed away on January 27, 2012. Born and raised in Franklin Park, Illinois, Ray met his loving wife of 44 years, the late Mary (LoGalbo) Weigand and with her raised five wonderful children. Barbara (Bill Syniar) Weigand, Rick Weigand, John Weigand, Chuck (Beverly) Weigand and Melody (Larry) Stried. Ray was the wonderful and jovial brother to Ireta (Johnnie) Rubino, Evelyn (Buster) Byrnes, Marge (Fred) Deike, Edith (Joe) Itrich, Robert (Connie) Weigand, Mary Thomas, Louise (Paul) Schneeberger, and Ila (Art) Webster .A loving grandfather of Kyle Weigand, Zac and Lucas Wesoloski, Fia, Emma, Randy and Gregory Weigand. Ray was a long time employee of both Grand Bowl and Leyden High School in Franklin Park. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to Strike at Cancer Foundation and Season's Hospice and Palliative Care.
Family and friends will gather at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, Jan. 29th.
Monday morning family and friends will gather at the funeral home for prayers at 10:30 A.M. then process to St. Gertrude Church for mass at 11:00 A.M. Entombment will be held at Mt. Emblem Cemetery.
