Age 78 went to be with the Lord on August 12.
Beloved Husband of Janet nee Bruns.
Loving father of Cathy (Jim) Louthen, and Linda (Scott) Backus.
Dear Grandfather of Elliot, Abigail, Olivia, Patrick, and Andrew.
Richard was a long time member of the Franklin Park Kiwanis Club.
He served his country in the army during the Korean War.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to resurrection Lutheran Church 9920 W. Grand Ave. Franklin Park or the Franklin Park Kiwanis club appreciated.
Visitation Monday 4 - 9 P.M. at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park.
Lying in state Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service 10:00 A.M. at resurrection Lutheran Church 9920 W. Grand Ave. Franklin Park.
Interment Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery.
