Loving husband of Lois 'Do Do' nee Cundiff for 71 years.

Cherished father of Peggy (Pete) Ventrelli, Robert (Mirusia), Carol (Rick) Conrad, Jane (Jim) Stevens, and Tom.

Beloved grandfather of Peter, and Kelly Ventrelli, Bobby Michalowski, Ricky, Danny, and Kurt Conrad, and Kali and Taylor Stevens.

Robert was a graduate of East Leyden Highschool, and the University of Illinois in Champaign with a degree in Architecture, a United States Navy Veteran, worked at the Village of Franklin Park as Village Architect for many years,  Member of the Franklin Park Kiwanis Club, Member of the Franklin Park Social Club, an avid fisherman, a car buff, and loved a good martini.

Visitation for Mr. Michalowski will begin on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home and Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Friday, July 2, 2021 for a funeral service at 11:00 am. Navy Honors to follow.
