Robert Charles Peters

Robert Charles Peters, 69, of Franklin Park, IL passed on Friday, April 26, 2024.  He was born in Chicago, IL on March 19, 1955 to Arthur V. and Eleanor (Ellingsen) Peters.  Bob attended Carl Schurz High School, Chicago, IL before attending and graduating from Main East High School, Park Ridge, IL.  Bob was a long standing member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 399 and enjoyed a long career of 48 years at the The McCormick Building in Chicago, IL.  

He was preceded in death by Arthur V., Eleanor (Ellingsen), Barbara, Janet (Peters) Hartmann, and is survived by Jody (Dardio) Peters, Arthur M. Peters, Eric Peters, Amy (Peters) Shearer, John Dardio, and his grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Church (Our Lady of Mercy Parish), 3033 N. Francisco Ave., Chicago, IL 60618.  In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice in memory of Bob would be appreciated.
