Roseann Rupp, 82, of River Grove Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 30th, 2020 at her home.
Roseann was born on May 21st, 1938 in Chicago Illinois to parent’s Vincent and Magdalena Korbal. She is preceded in death by her Parents, former husband Robert A. Rupp, and long-time, loving partner Felto Hollins. She is survived by her three children, Paul (Sue), Peter (Sarah), and John (Angie) and their extended families, her loving grandchildren, Kimberly McDonald (Mark), and Christopher Rupp, her brothers James and Vince (Michaelene) Korbal and their extended families, and special friends, the Toledo family, Fernando (Malena) Toledo, and their beautiful children, Italo (Roseann’s Godson), Danery, and Iliani, and their extended families, as well as countless friends and coworkers.
Roseann was a long-term employee of Motorola Solutions Inc., who was highly skilled in the production of quartz crystals used in communications equipment, and who earned numerous employee awards and accolades. Roseann was a dedicated mother who treasured her family, and who lovingly supported her three children through both difficult and good times. Roseann relished any opportunity to learn about foreign cultures and foods, bringing her in touch with many interesting people, many of whom remained close friends through life. As most people who were fortunate to know Roseann will attest, she was a skilled and engaging conversationalist with a quick wit, and entertaining sense of humor. She will be sadly missed.

Family and friends will gather at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home on Saturday, December 5th, 2020 from 9:30 am until time of Catholic service at 10:30am. Inurnment will immediately follow at Mount Emblem Cemetery, in Elmhurst. The funeral home is following the CDC guidelines and is currently limited to 10 people and will require wearing a mask.
