Loving mother of the late Judith (Phillip) Bohn, Barbara (James) Valentino, Patricia, and Kathleen (Timothy) Graham.
Devoted daughter of the late Ruth and Frank.
Dearest sister of the late Richard (Nina) and Robert (Judith). 
Cherished Grandmother of Julie (Donald) La Monica, Michael (Kelly) Bohn, Kristyn (Joseph) Hauser, James (Ashley) Valentino, Patrick (Jessica) Graham, Brian (Rebecca) Graham, and Robert (Amanda) Valentino.
Adoring Great Grandmother of Benjamin, Charlotte, Finnegan, Ryder, Payton, Hunter, Keira, Liam, Oliver, Emily, Christian, Grayson, Frances, Riley, and Ainsley.
Dear aunt, cousin, neighbor and friend of so, so many.

Ruth worked daily throughout her life with purpose, strength, and grace.
She kept an impeccable, modest home where she truly enjoyed her steadfast independence.
She spent summers in her yard and in the outdoors as much as the Midwest would allow.
As an amateur cookie artist and baker, she shared her handiwork and her sweet tooth with everyone, especially her grandkids.
Above all else, she loved her family. 
Her daughters were her beacon for being and the reason for her resolve.
Her devotion to them and their families was unmatched, even in challenging times.
Ruth died peacefully at home, with her family by her side.
She'll be greatly missed and forever remembered.
You knew your heart and you will always be in ours.

Services will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, at St. Gertrude Church, 9613 Schiller Boulevard, Franklin Park, IL.
Ruth will be lying in state for visitation from 9:00 until time of Mass at 10:00am.
Private family burial.
