As we thank God for her 73 years of life, our sweet Sharon took the hand of the Lord on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. She passed away at Good Shepherd Hospital, after a brave battle. Her courageous spirit will always encourage her family and friends to persist in the face of struggles. Sharon developed wonderful relationships as a cherished daughter, loving sister, an aunt to many, a godmother, and a wonderful friend. She leaves us saddened as she continues her journey with God, but we can recall all the joyful times we shared. As family and friends we will be strengthened by our relationships. The memories we have, her love, and the beauty of her smile will live in our hearts forever.
Sharon was the one of five siblings. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward, and her mother, Eleanor (nee Sobiesczyk). Loving sister to Glen, Dawn, Edward R. (Mary Ann) and Ronald (Mary Ann). Loving aunt to Michael, Michelle, Russell (Tracy), Kurt (Fran), Amie Yanover (Steve) Angela Ferrazza (Joe) and Jaime Bohn. Great Aunt to Jessica, Tyler (Jenna), Matthew, Gavin, Matteo, Luca, Madeline, Lilah, Eli, Lizzie, Charlie, Max, Cameron and Quinn. Extended Aunt to many, especially Tina and Joey and special friend to Diane Mason, Fausto Arnieri, Cathy and Steve Pauly, her dog Mic and countless others.
Sharon started her career as a hairdresser and worked at Faust of Italy in Morton Grove, Il, for over 40 years. A gifted hairdresser, she attended several competitions and earned many awards. Throughout her time working there, Sharon developed close relationships with her fellow hairdressers and bonded with several of her customers. A kind and very generous person, Sharon was loved by everyone. She will be missed.
