Stephen Fondel

Stephen (Steve) Henry Fondel passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the age of 54.
Beloved father of Tauni Santurov, Brittany Huette, and Stevie Fondel.

Cherished grandfather of Evelyn, Aria, and Logan.
Dear brother of Julie Cwik and Jean Llamas.
Adored uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his mother Geraldine Fondel who he joins now in heaven.

Steve Fondel was born on April 23, 1967, to Ronald and Geraldine Fondel. Larger than life with the ability to sell anything, Steve excelled in any sales position he ever had. He brought joy and laughter to everyone around him and quickly became everyone's favorite person. He was someone who would help anyone no matter the circumstances, one you could always depend on who would be there to support you. His passion was fishing and many of his greatest memories were on the water, fishing pole in hand, surrounded by those he loved most. Although much of his life was spent with sickness, he raised a family, was truly loved and adored, excelled in his work, and even in the toughest of days was always more concerned with those he cared about.

Visitation for Steve will take place at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park, on Saturday, July 3, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a service at 1:00 PM.
