64, Passed away September 26, 2011 in Tennessee.
Loving father of David Conrad Balk, Christopher Thomas (Jenny) Balk, and Michael Stephen Balk.
Cherished grandfather of Emily, Edwin, Stephen and Matthew.
Dear brother of Donald Balk, Leslie Keller, and Linnea Karpenske.
Uncle of many.
Tom was a decorated Vietnam Veteran with three Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart with two Stars. Mr. Balk was a Director of Administration for the Service Master Company and had worked with many of the Hospitals in the Chicago Area before and handled the Service Master Corporate facilities in Downers Grove, Il before advancing to the poaition in Tennessee.
Visitation Friday,fom 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Funeral Saturday 11:00 A.M. at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery.
