Loving mother of Marsha (Chester) Zapatka, and Bruce Henriksen.
Cherished grandmother of Stephen (Heather), David (Tara), Andrew (Brie), Wayne (Jaimie), and Deana (Jeremy).
Proud great grandmother of Hannah, Jocelyn, Gracie, Jackson, Garrett, Maddux, Zoe, Cole, Owen, Charlie, Leia, Alexander 'AJ', and Elleott.
Violet had been a member of the Sweet Adeline's for many years and a long time member of St. Paul's Evangelical Covenant Church of Franklin Park.
She was an avid needlepointer, a Chicago Blackhawks fan, and never missed a game of her beloved Chicago Cubs.
Family and friends will gather at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm Noon.
Interment will follow at Mount Emblem Cemetery.
