Beloved wife of the late Gregory Sommesi and the late Aloysius Rutka.
Loving mother of Joseph (Nicky) Rutka and John Rutka.
Proud grandma of Gina Rutka, Becky (Champ) Kurpiel, and Kimberly Rutka.
Cherished great grandma of Zachary and Christina.
Dear sister of the late Margaret Rose Koss, the late Frank Koss, and the late Paul Koss
Fond aunt of many.
Virginia was involved with many organizations. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the West End Post VFW # 2004, AARP, the Brickyard Seniors, St. Genevive Friendship Club, the 25th District Police Seniors and Major Hall, and the Tuesday Polka Club.
She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, December 31, 2012 beginning at 9:00 am until time of prayers 10:15 am at the funeral home.
Mass will be held at St. Hyacinth Basilica at 11:00 am.
Interment services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, Il.
