Walter Rayniak

Born in Chicago on April 16, 1917, Passing on April 25, 2010 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Julia (Postava). Beloved father of Laura (Jim) Dutton. Devoted grandfather of Christopher (Angie) Roberts and Michael Roberts. Great grandfather of Christian Roberts. Devoted brother of the late John and Irene, Raymond and Laverne, and sister Margaret. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Veteran of World War II. Co-Owner with his brothers of Reliable Plating Rack Company. Past fireman, electrical inspector, and precinct captain of his home town of many years, Schiller Park. Sun-Times newspapers photographer and later, the owner of a sign painting business. Served with state of Illinois auxiliary police for a number of years. Visitation Wednesday, April 28th from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Family and friends will gather 9:30 a.m.Thursday, April 29th at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium 9568 Belmont Ave. Franklin Park and process to St. Beatrice Church, 4157 Atlantic Ave, Schiller Park, IL, for mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
