Wayne Chaplin

Wayne L. Chaplin, 73, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, at his home. He was born August 5, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, to Maurice and Ann Marie Chaplin. Wayne was united in marriage to Marilyn (nee) Cundiff on April 24, 1965, celebrating 48 years of marriage. Formally from Elmwood Park, Wayne was a resident of Bensenville for 48 years, and employed by M&M/Mars Candy Company for 37 years. He loved playing pinochle with his pals, cooking, hunting, fishing, gardening, and traveling the world. He was a past president of the Pheasianus Hunt Club and a paratrooper in the Army for 3 years. He was a dear brother to David J. (Deborah) Chaplin. Brother in law of Sherman (Karen) Cundiff and Mardell (Bob) Leeper. Uncle of David M. (Mari) Chaplin, Julie Chaplin (Rob Turacek), Adam T. (Jesse) Cundiff and Eric E. Cundiff. Great Uncle of Jake Chaplin, and Aiden Cundiff. Fond "Unko" to many. A special thanks from family goes to his care giver Rita Partee. Visitation Thursday, March 7, 2013, 3:00pm to 9:00 pm.
