Bill Spencer was very active in sports as a football coach for many years in the Pop Warner Youth Football League. He was a staunch Cubs fan until the team blew it in 1969 and has been a White Sox Fan ever since. He spent many years sitting in the cold at Wrigley Field watching Bears games with a hot toddy or two to keep him warm. He loved music - whether in a band in the army, in a jazz band himself or going to hear a Dixieland band. One of his biggest loves was spending time with his grandchildren.... No matter how many times they wanted to watch The Wizard of Oz!! Bill was a family man and loved by many.
